China Airlines has inaugurated a new daily flight route connecting Taichung and Okinawa, enhancing its presence in Japan and bringing the airline’s total weekly round-trip flights between Taiwan and Japan to over 170. The service is operated using an Airbus A321neo, with flight CI310 departing Taichung at 10:00 a.m. and arriving in Okinawa at 12:40 p.m. The return flight, CI311, takes off from Okinawa at 1:40 p.m., landing back in Taichung at 2:10 p.m.

To further boost its offerings, China Airlines plans to introduce a second daily service starting August 13. This new addition includes flight CI312, which will leave Taichung at 3:20 p.m. and reach Okinawa by 6:00 p.m. The corresponding return flight, CI313, is scheduled to depart Okinawa at 7:00 p.m. and arrive in Taichung at 7:30 p.m.

With these new flights, alongside existing services from Taipei and Kaohsiung, the airline will operate approximately 30 round-trip flights to Okinawa every week. This expansion is set to enhance connectivity between Taiwan and Japan, offering more travel options for both business and leisure passengers.

The addition of these routes is part of China Airlines’ broader strategy to strengthen its network in Japan, catering to increased demand and providing more flexible travel choices. The increased frequency of flights is expected to facilitate smoother travel experiences and support the growing interaction between the two regions.
