Taiwan and Japan have taken a significant step towards bolstering their collaboration in the drone industry by signing a letter of intent aimed at creating a secure supply chain independent of China. This agreement was formalized between Taiwan’s Global UAV Academy (GUAVA) and the Japan Drone Consortium during the International Drone Expo held in Tokyo.
The primary focus of this partnership is to develop robust and resilient supply chains for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Both parties are committed to expanding their research and development capabilities, enhancing cybersecurity measures, and training a skilled workforce to meet the demands of the evolving drone industry.
